Land Design by Armstrong specializes in upscale backyard designs for luxury homes. Our in-house team of landscape designers, contractors and architects work together to bring hardscaping and softscaping together to create beautiful homes made to gather for years to come. This summer, we have featured three homes to showcase the multi—feature design expertise of our team. All are located in Holladay, Utah. Each home includes key landscape features such as pools, spas, concrete paving, pergolas, natural stone paths, Utah native plants, and Shrubs. As well as outdoor fire features, kitchens, and outdoor lighting. Belgard and Trex products are used throughout each residency, the quality and durability amplified by the installment of clean lines and precision.

Each home is uniquely designed by our team of Landscape designers and Landscape Architects. The budgets for these home range from 10-15% of the home’s total value. Each home received a cleanup prior to the photoshoot, a maintenance service offered by Land Design.

An Upscale Oasis with Maximized Curb Appeal

In our first home, you will notice the hand-chiseled limestone blocks that top the stone masonry columns. The home is hugged with Utah native plants and flowers with a welcoming walkway of shrubs, flowers, and outdoor lighting. In the backyard, you will find sleek water features with hard and soft-scaping design strategies to create a cohesive flow from feature to feature. The priority was to create an oasis that could be used for entertainment and gathering. A pizza oven is built on the patio for a unique feature to make a family favorite dish in the comfort of their own outdoor dining area. Take the entertainment to the fire feature, secluded with concrete paver walls for added privacy against the rest of the outdoor living space in order to host multiple parties.

A Mountain-Inspired Luxury Backyard

A home nestled against a river, the warm color of a vibrant and healthy Japanese maple tree is available to view on the lifted patio deck made with Trex materials. Below the patio is a stone fire pit that is positioned to reduce smoke from those who are sitting above. Perfect for hosting large parties, this luxury backyard has multiple places for gathering while still being able to see and enjoy all the views of the river and lush trees. The outdoor living space is maximized through length up to a Belgard patio covered by a gorgeous pergola. An area for the kids includes a space for a trampoline that is within eye-view but out of the main entertainment space for the perfect balance of entertaining both children and adults.
