Trex
Trex products are made from a unique combination of wood and plastic fibers from reclaimed or recycled resources. These sources include sawdust and used pallets from woodworking operations as well as recycled grocery bags. Plastic protects the wood from moisture and insect damage- this eliminates rotting and splintering. The wood shields the plastic from UV damage while providing a natural, attractive look and feel. Great for railings, decks and fences.
Trex has little or no maintenance required and comes in a nice color palate. There are other composite materials available such as Timber Tech and Evergrain of similar design.
Redwood
Redwood, a giant evergreen, comes from the bald cypress family, has fire-resistant bark, is long lasting, soft wood and is found in the coastal regions of California and Southern Oregon. Redwood is a great decking material creating a smooth surface and can be used alone or in conjunction with Trex Hardwood. It comes in three grades based on use and cost and is insect resistant.
Cedar
Cedar is a combination of several evergreen trees. The wood is remarkable for it’s durability and fragrant odor. Cedar is generally used in pergolas, railings, decks, fences and gazebos. It is known for it’s longevity against the elements and has a rough natural feel.
Iron Works
Iron works consist of railings, fences and ornamental iron that is built either on-site or in shop and coated for unique textures and colors.
